Working to de-Google my phone, LeanType has brenna learning curve over Gboard but there's some great advantages.
I have enabled "More auto-correction" as well as "Always show suggestions" but I'm still unable to get the suggestion strip or any of the autocorrect features to work in Fossify Messages. Any reason why this might be? Gboard works fine, not sure what different mechanism it could be using.
